Warm-up is a little space at the beginning of the class where we share ideas with all the classmates and helps us to socialize because we work as a group. This activity called warm-up makes us feel comfortable in the environment of the class.
To develop an activity such as warm-up you may take into account the level that you teach because of the vocabulary. when I participated in the warm-up "change if" it was very funny the activity and i felt comfortable participating in that activity but, sometimes it was kind of confusing the direction because not everone moved to another place when the charactetistics were mentioned.
With the warm-up "Do what I do and say what I say...Say and do the oppisite what I say" was a little different because at the beginning the first group hadn't understood the directions they even hadn't seen how to develop the activity, but the second group didn't have the same problem because we have already seen how to do it. So we have to give the correct direction to students for developing a warm-up in the correct way.
To sum up, warm-ups are importan and there are a lot of warm-ups that a teacher can use in the class to have a good environment in which students feel comfortable with each other.
